HSC Fund buys in Freiburg
The HSC Fund has acquired a multi-tenant building with 9,500 sqm of leasable space in the city of Freiburg. The fund cancels its capital increase planned for the fall.

According to a statement by Helvetica Swiss Commercial Fund (HSC Fund), the newly acquired property is a commercial property built in 1994 to above-average construction quality in an "outstandingly accessible and business-intensive location in the heart of the city of Fribourg". The building has its own underground parking garage with 140 parking spaces. The acquired, inner-city property is approximately 3,500 sqm in size.
The property has a leasable area of over 9,500 sqm and, according to the information, generates a target rental income of just under CHF 2.2 million per year with 15 tenancies. It is well diversified at market rents, with an occupancy rate of around 90%. Some of the tenants are well-known, internationally active companies, the statement continues.
The fund management company also announces that it will postpone the capital increase planned for September 2020 and will not issue any additional fund units at this time. (ah)
