There are many reasons for expanding mixed-use site management to the Basel location, according to Wincasa. Basel is one of the most attractive economic regions in the world, is home to one of the largest life science clusters in Europe, and its geographical location in the border triangle as well as strongly represented industries such as chemicals and logistics also speak in favor of the location. In addition, the region has the largest transformation potential of economic areas in Switzerland over the next 15 years.

The Mixed-Use Site Management started its presence in Basel with Stücki Park, and later won a mandate for a site in Klybeck and for another site in the Basel region. Under the management of Christian Mutschler, the growth is now to be continued: "Due to the high attractiveness of the Basel region as a location and the correspondingly high demand for interesting business sites, the development of new offers is of particular importance," says Mutschler.

According to Thomas Hinderling, Head of Mixed-Use Site Management at Wincasa, the department currently has 16 sites in its portfolio with a total of 1.1 million square meters of space, which are managed by 35 employees. He sees great potential for development in the Swiss market in the future as well and expects further sites to be added in the medium term. Wincasa founded Mixed-Use Site Management three years ago.
