Swissquote wants to build office tower in Gland
According to media reports, the online bank Swissquote is planning to build a 15-storey office tower at its headquarters in Gland (VD).
At first the newspapers had 24 Heures and Tribune de Genève reported on the construction project. According to the report, Swissquote has acquired around 10,000 square meters of land on which to build a high-rise office building. According to finanzen.ch the planning application has already been published in the official gazette.
The bank plans to complete the new building by 2025, when around 1,700 employees will be able to work in Gland. Swissquote currently has a total of 600 employees, 500 of whom work in Gland. (ah)
