Pensimo is building the Zwhatt quarter in Regensdorf
Pensimo Management has submitted the building applications for the first stage of the new Zwhatt urban quarter, which is being built at Regensdorf-Watt railway station.

Pensimo Management AG is building Zwhatt on behalf of the three investment foundations Turidomus, Adimora and Pensimo. A quarter with seven buildings, including two high-rises, is being built in the middle of Regensdorf.
Building permits have now been applied for for three buildings to be constructed on the current parking lot opposite the SAP building: the "commercial building" directly on Wehntalerstasse, the "Querbau" with around 60 apartments and a high-rise with around 160 apartments. According to Pensimo, planning applications have also been submitted for a cross-site underground car park and for the buildings on Neuhardstrasse. These are a high-rise with around 150 apartments and the "longitudinal building" with 30 maisonette lofts.
In the first construction phase, around 400 apartments, 12,000 sqm of commercial space and 330 underground parking spaces will be created. Letting is scheduled to start in autumn 2021, with the first apartments ready for occupation one year later. The planning partners for the first stage are Boltshauser Architekten, Bureau Alexander Brodsky, Graser Architekten, Lütjens Padmanabhan Architekten, Studio Märkli and Lorenz Eugster Landschaftsarchitektur und Städtebau.
As Pensimo further announces, the new quarter will draw a large part of its energy from groundwater and electricity from its own production through photovoltaics. Panels will be installed on the roofs of the buildings and integrated into the facades of the high-rise buildings. (ah)
