Grammet housing estate in Liestal is completed
In Liestal (BL), between Grammetstrasse and Heidenlochstrasse, a new housing estate with almost 170 apartments has been built.
On a site of around 17,000 square meters on the edge of the forest, Eiffage Suisse as total contractor has built two structures with a total of 168 rental apartments, a double kindergarten and an underground garage with 179 parking spaces. House 1 was commissioned by the Civic Community of Liestal, House 2 by Credit Suisse Funds AG for the Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund Green Property.
The total investment costs are put at around CHF 76.4 million. The gross floor area amounts to 19,781 sqm, the main usable area (according to SIA 416) is given as 15,300 sqm.
The traditional groundbreaking ceremony was held in May 2018, and after two and a half years of construction, the superstructure will be ready for occupancy from the end of November 2020. The occupancy rate as of mid-November was around 50%, according to Eiffage Suisse. (ah)
