UBS Foncipars invests in Onex
The UBS Foncipars real estate fund has acquired a residential property at Bois-de-la-Chapelle in Onex (GE).
The property consists of a long row of buildings with several entrances. It was built in 1970; the facade, the roof and the windows were renovated in the course in 2016.
As of October 1, 2020, the UBS Foncipars fund has acquired a building entrance - 40 apartments, a storage area and 31 parking spaces - and the proportional co-ownership of the surrounding communal plot. The investment volume is around CHF 21 million, according to UBS. The rent is currently around CHF 750,000 per year. Thus, the property has a high rental potential, UBS said. (ah)
