The seven properties acquired in the city of Geneva are fully leased, according to the Basel-Stadt Pension Fund (PKBS). The portfolio consists mainly of residential properties on the Rive Gauche, one of the best locations in Geneva. It is the first direct commitment of the PKBS in Geneva.

As transaction manager, Baloise - itself one of the largest institutional real estate owners in Western Switzerland - advised the PKBS during the contract negotiations. In addition, Baloise will in future act as asset manager and real estate manager for these seven properties. With this partnership, Baloise Asset Management is implementing its strategy of significantly increasing its third-party client assets, according to Baloise. (ah)
