HRS large-scale project Nova Brunnen is one step further
The municipality of Ingenbohl (SZ) has issued the design plan for the Nova Brunnen project. HRS Real Estate wants to develop a quarter on the former Holcim site.
HRS Investment AG acquired the approximately 28-hectare site of the former Holcim plant in Brunnen in 2017 in order to develop a residential and working quarter there. The company says it is now one step closer to the planned start of construction in spring 2021. The municipality of Ingenbohl has issued the design plan, which - since no appeals have been received - will now be decided by the government council.
Building applications have already been submitted for the Nova Port and Nova Hof construction sites. With the Nova Port stage, the project developer and total company HRS Real Estate wants to build on the site closest to the village center of Brunnen and Lake Lucerne, as well as in the immediate vicinity of the train station. Four staggered buildings with around 100 rental apartments (1.5 to 5.5 rooms) are being built according to plans by the architectural firm Züst Gübeli Gambetti. They are scheduled to be ready for occupancy in early summer 2023. In the second stage, Nova Hof, three apartment buildings (1.5 to 5.5 rooms) are expected to be built on the Muota from the first quarter of 2022.
Several residential and commercial buildings are planned in three further stages. In addition to new buildings, two old factory buildings are also to be converted and repurposed. (ah)
