UBS funds invest in the canton of Vaud
The UBS Foncipars real estate fund has acquired a new construction project in Crissier and purchased a residential project in Bussigny together with UBS Direct Residential.
The project in Crissier (VD), purchased by UBS Foncipars, is a planned residential and commercial building. It will replace the polyclinic already located on the site, as well as accommodate additional commercial space and 28 new apartments. The first phase of the new building will include the construction of the new space for the polyclinic. Once the new space is occupied, the old building will be demolished and the second part of the property, including a garage, will be completed. In 2024, the work is expected to be completed. UBS puts the investment volume at around CHF 20 million.
Effective December 15, 2020, UBS Foncipars and UBS Direct Residential have jointly acquired a new residential development project with four apartment buildings and a total of 87 apartments in Bussigny (VD). Both real estate investment products are acquiring two buildings each, which are separated by an access road. The total investment volume amounts to around CHF 54 million. (ah)
