Basel: Interim use on the Klybeck site
Campus Bildung Gesundheit will be the interim user on the part of the Klybeck site owned by Rhystadt AG for about two years.
Rhystadt AG (formerly Central Real Estate Basel AG) has announced that the Education Health Campus will move into temporary premises from summer 2021 for a provisional period of two years. Around 2,500 learners and students will thus enliven the Klybeck site in the future.
The replacement areas are an interim solution while the current location of the Campus Education Health at Spenglerpark in Münchenstein is being rebuilt. "The location on the Rhine between Novartis and Stücki Park is attractive, and the spacious premises are ideal for us," say the directors of the two schools, explaining their choice of location.
The lease agreement came into effect in January 2021 and the building application for the space conversions has been submitted, according to Rhystadt AG. By the summer, building 132 on Unterer Rheinweg, building 147 directly at the bridgehead of the Dreirosenbrücke and building 121 directly next to it will be structurally adapted to the wishes of the new tenants. Building 620 will also be converted into a gymnasium. (ah)
