Cassa dei Medici becomes new tenant in Centro Bioggio
SF Retail Properties Fund has leased around 1,000 sqm of office space in Centro Bioggio to Cassa dei Medici. The vacancy rate in the building complex is thus reduced by 20%.
The SF Retail Properties Fund was able to lease the first floor in Bioggio (TI) in the course of the overall renovation of the building complex Centro Bioggio and put it into operation. Now a new tenant has been added to an area of 1,000 sqm: According to the fund management, a ten-year lease with an option to extend has been signed with Cassa dei Medici, a cooperative that provides administrative services to doctors and therapists throughout Switzerland.
Cassa dei Medici will move into the second floor from July 1, 2021 and set up offices and a meeting center on an area of 914 square meters. Additional space will be used for storage, circulation and technology.
The property in Bioggio is located on Via della Posta and comprises three floors. The vacancy rate in the property will be reduced by a further 20% with this new deal, after a new lease agreement for 400 sqm was already concluded as of December 2020, according to the fund management of the SF Retail Properties Fund. The marketing measures will be continued; further talks are already being held for the available space on the first and second floors. (bw)
