Arosa: Switzerland's first Aves Hotel under construction
An Aves Hotel with 87 rooms is being built in Carmenna Park in Arosa (GR). It is the first new hotel to be built in Arosa in over 40 years and the first Aves Management property in Switzerland.
In addition to 16 managed apartments, 87 hotel rooms as well as a restaurant, wellness and commercial areas are under construction in the Carmenna Park development. Baulink AG is the general contractor, while Konge Hotel AG is the developer and operator of the hotel. The economy hotel concept of Aves Hotel Management will be implemented. According to Philipp Köchli of Konge Hotel AG, the hotel is scheduled to open for the 2022/23 season.
Baulink also reports that the apartments in the development are "almost completely" sold and that negotiations are already underway for the use of the 700-square-meter commercial space. The aim is to integrate Carmenna Park into the structure of local trade, says Köchli. (ah)
