The Baumgarten residential development will comprise 66 rental apartments, 77 condominiums and 20 terraced houses. The project is being built on the former site of the Hauenstein Nursery in Küttigen near Aarau.

The residential quarter will consist of three areas designed by three different architects. The buildings will be constructed using hybrid construction methods. The building material wood will not only be used for the construction of the outer wall, but should also be recognizable in the outermost layer and thereby be expressed in different facets - also as a reminiscence of the former tree nursery area.

The building owner is Rombach Immobilien AG from Laufenburg, which belongs to the Erne Group. Markstein AG has been commissioned with the property management mandate and the marketing of the new building project.

As soon as the permits for the project have been obtained, construction work is to start. Commissioning is planned for the beginning of 2023. (ah)
