Bolligen: Frutiger realizes housing development on the Flugbrunnen site
The building permit for the "Flugbrunnenareal" project in the center of Bolligen (BE) is legally binding, and the Frutiger Group is starting to implement the project.
According to Frutiger, further planning steps have been initiated and the sales process is in preparation. On the Flugbrunnen site, condominiums are being built under building lease; the building lender is the municipality of Bolligen. In the first stage, 32 apartments will be built. The occupancy date is planned for the fall of 2023.
An old schoolhouse dating from 1907 is located on the site, and the building, which is protected as a historic monument, will be preserved. It defines the highest point of the settlement and should serve as an identity-forming element of the overall development, the Frutiger Group continues.
The Bern-Mittelland district governor's office approved the building project in its overall construction decision of December 18, 2020, and rejected 14 objections to the project. Residents had criticized, among other things, the volumes of the buildings, it was said at the time. (ah)
