UBS Sima completes refurbishment in Binningen
The UBS Sima real estate fund has completely renovated and repositioned a property in Binningen (BL). The investment volume was around CHF 24 million.
The property at Hauptstrasse 34 was previously used as a residential and commercial building and is now exclusively for commercial use. The total renovation took around two years, and the new opening was in January 2021.
The property now houses the central location of Basel-Landschaft Psychiatry; according to UBS Sima, a 25-year lease has been signed. Swiss Post, which previously operated a branch in the building, will remain as a tenant after the conversion. The building is located in the centre of the municipality of Binningen, which is directly adjacent to the city of Basel. A tram and bus stop is located directly in front of the building, and there is also a supply of parking spaces. (ah)
