The new Swissôtel Kursaal Bern is the former Hotel Allegro at Kornhausstrasse 3 in Bern, which has now reopened after renovation and conversion. The hotel comprises 171 guest rooms and suites, including the brand's signature Vitality Suites with balcony and workout equipment. There is also a 150-square-meter fitness center, two restaurants and a bar, and a 4,800-square-meter conference area is available in the Kursaal Bern Congress Centre for events with up to 1,500 participants.

The opening of the Swissôtel in Bern seems an unusual step in the midst of the Corona pandemic, especially since the insolvencies of the Swissôtel in Zurich Oerlikon and the Swissôtel in Basel had become known only a few months ago. (ah)
