Schaffhausen pension fund plans residential development in Kloten
The Schaffhausen Pension Fund plans to build several replacement buildings for its Gartenstadtsiedlung in Kloten by 2024.
The existing Gartenstadtsiedlung at Lerchenweg 10-40 in Kloten was built in 1955 and last renovated in the mid-1980s. It currently comprises 96 apartments for rent. With the new building, the Schaffhausen Pension Fund aims to realize 225 rental apartments.
In the tendered study contract for project planning, tender planning, implementation planning and general planning, Büro Fischer Architekten AG was awarded first place. Their plans envisage seven six-story residential buildings on the edge of the forest in Kloten.
Construction of the replacement buildings is scheduled to take place by 2024. (mr)
