On a plot of land directly adjacent to the Lancy-Pont-Rouge train station, Swiss Prime Site Immobilien is developing a building with 15 upper floors and three levels of underground parking. According to the company, the approximately 30,000 sqm of office and commercial space is designed according to the "Modern Work" insights. Marketing of the space has begun, and some leases, including one with a co-working provider, have already been signed, it said. In addition to the office space, smaller spaces for grocery stores and restaurants are also planned. The development is scheduled for completion by 2023.

According to Swiss Prime Site, the property will be certified according to the Swiss Sustainable Building Standard SNBS. According to earlier information from the total contractor Implenia, the project has a contract volume of CHF 132 million. Jean Megow, Head Region West Swiss Prime Site Immobilien, says the Alto Pont-Rouge development is one of the "most important and largest development projects in western Switzerland in recent years" for the real estate company.
