Ostermundigen: Belano completes residential development
The Belano Zuhause development in Ostermundigen (BE) will be ready for occupancy from August. According to Belano, two thirds of the apartments are currently rented.
Three apartment buildings with a total of 67 barrier-free, senior-friendly apartments (1.5 to 4.5 rooms) including loggia, balcony or seating area have been built on the Kästli site at Grubenstrasse 14/14a and Paracelsusstrasse 2 in Ostermundigen. The owner is the Swiss Life Investment Foundation, the concept and project developer is Belano Group AG.
The apartments are aimed at seniors, couples, families and singles. The rent includes a round-the-clock emergency call service, an electronic locking system and a key safe. If required, residents can make use of other services - such as Spitex or a medical service. In addition, services such as apartment cleaning or catering can be ordered at the in-house reception.
In addition, the LEA Gold-labelled development has communal areas: a cafeteria, a studio, a fitness room and a library, as well as a spacious outdoor area with seating and a bowling alley.
Belano Zuhause is located in the immediate vicinity of Ostermundigen's main shopping street, and the railway station is within walking distance. According to the project developer, two thirds of the apartments are already rented.
The current Belano-Zuhause operations are all rented out, and there are waiting lists, according to Belano. According to the company, about 600 apartments based on the Belano-Zuhause concept are currently being realized or developed. (ah)
