Zurich: Goldman Sachs moves to Bahnhofstrasse
The US investment bank Goldman Sachs is expected to leave its headquarters on Claridenstrasse in 2024 and move to Bahnhofstrasse 3.

The office property change was confirmed by Dominique Wohnlich, CEO of Goldman Sachs Bank, to the portal finews.ch. The headquarters of the "Alte Börse" on Bahnhofstrasse, a property built in 1880, will be renovated in the coming years according to plans by the architectural firm Studio Märki and two attic floors will be added.
In addition, the first floor will be lowered to the level of Bahnhofstrasse during the renovation work that began these days, according to the statement. Goldman Sachs will move into the top three floors with around 100 employees. The building is owned by the cooperative and foundation Baugarten Zürich.
Hämmerle & Partner GmbH is acting as general planner for the renovation project. For the project "Transformation Bahnhofstrasse 3" EBP provides the overall BIM (Building Information Modeling) coordination as well as the facade planning.
In the future, the building will have 3,900 sqm of retail space and 4,000 sqm of office space. The international real estate service provider Knight Frank, represented in Switzerland by Partner Real Estate AG, has been commissioned with the leasing. (mr)
