Geneva: SPS sells further part of the Espace Tourbillon project
Swiss Prime Site has sold House E of the large-scale Espace Tourbillon project in Geneva's Plan-les-Ouates industrial zone.

Espace Tourbillon consists of five buildings, an underground logistics station and has a total leasable area of 95,000 sqm. The foundation stone for the major project was laid in June 2018, Already in June 2017, the first two buildings, House C and D, were sold to the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation. In mid-April of this year, House C was handed over to the new owner ready for occupancy. According to Swiss Prime Site, ten social institutions and a start-up cluster will be located in this building and in Building D, which was completed towards the end of the year.
As the real estate company now announces, there was another partial sale at the end of April, House E. With this sale, the company was able to meet the further space requirements of an important partner, according to SPS CEO René Zahnd. In House A, Swiss Prime Site sells condominiums to companies. According to Zahnd, 70% of the space here is currently sold or reserved.
With the sale of Haus E and the disposal of a property in the center of Zurich, Swiss Prime Site has already achieved its annual target for sales profits in the first third of 2021, says Zahnd. The proceeds from the transactions will be used to self-finance the project pipeline, including the second major Geneva project Pont-Rouge in Lancy. (ah)
