According to Hiag, the company, which is active in the logistics sector for the out-of-home market, the catering sector and the healthcare sector, will lease the site in Brunegg for ten years from November 2021. The property has a usable floor space of around 11,000 sqm and is located at the A1 / Mängenwil freeway exit, and is thus connected to the A1 and A3 freeways.

According to Hiag, this is a seamless follow-on lease to the previous tenant, Lekkerland Switzerland. The company filed for bankruptcy last year. Until the new tenant moves in, planned renovation measures will be implemented, Hiag added.

"We are currently seeing strong demand for first-class logistics properties," says Béatrice Gollong, Head of Transactions and Commercial Space Marketing. This trend is noticeably reflected in the price development for top locations.

According to Philipp Mandl, managing director of Swiss Commercial Invest, the company in charge of leasing, they have "with the extraordinary location directly on the A1" could score points with potential tenants. In the end, the combination of location, room heights, floor loads and delivery situation was decisive for the new tenant. (ah)
