Weinfelden: Thurgau pension fund plans centre development
The Thurgau Pension Fund wants to build the Sonnenwinkel residential and commercial development in Weinfelden. The plans are currently open to the public.
The Sonnenwinkel development consists of two buildings comprising a total of 61 apartments (2.5 to 5.5 rooms) and 1,100 sqm of commercial space, as well as an underground car park. The project is being built on five plots in the streets Im Sonnenwinkel, Schulstrasse and Bahnhofstrasse in the centre of Weinfelden.
The property will be built to the Minergie standard. A wood-pellet heating system, a photovoltaic system and a charging station for electric cars are planned. The plans are still open to the public until 3 June. (ah)
