Renens: Four residential buildings in Parc du Simplon are completed
Porr Suisse has handed over a construction site of the Parc du Simplon development in Renens (VD) to the client SBB.
After a construction period of around 20 months, Porr Suisse AG has completed four apartment buildings with a total of 70 residential units and two underground garages in Parc du Simplon and handed them over to SBB. The project is being built in the former industrial area of Renens and includes a total of 270 apartments as well as space for stores, crafts, offices and services. The SBB regional headquarters will be located in Parc du Simplon, and there will also be a high school and a crèche on the site.
According to the company, the part of the superstructure built by Porr has a contract volume of around CHF 25 million. The four- and five-story residential buildings with a floor area of 7,330 square meters comprise a total of 70 residential units with different types of living and standards - from lofts and family apartments to attic apartments with large loggias. The project's two underground garages extend over almost the entire site and are accessed via each of the four buildings. In total, the garages comprise 110 parking spaces for cars and 25 motorcycles. (ah)
