HRS realises hotel on the SaurerWerk-Zwei site in Arbon
HRS Real Estate wants to build the planned hotel on the SaurerWerk-Zwei site in Arbon (TG) earlier than planned. The building application has been submitted.
According to HRS Real Estate AG, it plans to build a hotel with 63 rooms and an adjacent building with 18 condominiums in the next few months. The hotel will be a seven-storey building on Stickereistrasse with large windows facing the lake, the old town and the Säntis. In addition to the hotel rooms, a restaurant with 70 seats as well as fitness and meeting rooms are planned.
According to HRS, the hotel will be operated by the Liechtenstein company B_Smart Selection, based in Gamprin-Bendern. The company operates 16 hotels and motels in Liechtenstein and Switzerland. The investor for the hotel project is Toni Hilti Familien-Treuhänderschaft or the Liechtenstein family Toni Hilti.
With the construction of the new hotel on the SaurerWerk-Zwei site, the promise to create new overnight accommodation to replace the former Hotel Metropol was being implemented ahead of schedule. Until now, the view had been that the economic conditions for a new hotel could only be met once the Riva development had been completed. However, since the round table on the Riva project ended with positive results, HRS Real Estate is making advance payments. The Riva development is to include a restaurant, hall, bar, garden terrace, hotel rooms and apartments. (ah)
