Zurich: Demolition work underway for the Wydäcker project
HIG Immobilien Anlage Stiftung and Credit Suisse Anlagestiftung are currently preparing the building site for their joint project Wydäcker in Zurich-Wiedikon.
Together with Credit Suisse Investment Foundation, HIG Immobilien Anlage Stiftung is building the Wydäcker site development in Zurich-Wiedikon by mid-2023. The project comprises four new residential buildings, plus a school building on a municipal plot.
A seven-story building with 46 apartments and approximately 240 square meters of commercial space is being built on the HIG parcel on Triemlifussweg. HIG is also co-owner (share: 37.05%) of a five-storey building with 48 small apartments and approximately 490 sqm of commercial space.
Demolition work began in spring 2021 and is almost complete. The demolition and the new buildings are being realised by HRS Real Estate. The new residential and commercial areas are expected to be ready for occupation in summer 2023. (mr)
