Zug: Coworking provider Westhive comes to the Tech Cluster
Zurich-based coworking provider Westhive plans to offer flexible workplaces, offices and conference rooms at the V-Zug site from summer 2022. The new location will cover an area of over 2,000 square meters.

The Metall-Zug Group is planning a location on the V-Zug site under the name Tech Cluster Zug for startups, technology service providers, training institutions, but also for industrial companies, all in all an "industrially influenced ecosystem," according to reports. Westhive is now set to be one of the users. The coworking provider plans to open its new location on the site in late summer 2022.
In addition to flexible workplaces and conference rooms, but also private offices, a coffee bar, a team kitchen and a fitness area are also planned, according to the company. All of this will be found on the site in the "light-flooded, completely refurbished and air-conditioned Shedhalle" at the address Oberallmendstrasse 18, it said.
According to the Metall-Zug Group, the future "Tech Cluster Zug" will be supplied with all the necessary energies in a climate-neutral manner via a "multi-energy hub that is unique in Switzerland". In addition to new outdoor spaces with squares, alleys and meadows, neighborhood amenities will also be created in the coming years, including restaurants, conference facilities and daycare centers.
