Basel: Visionapartments converts commercial building to
Visionapartments, a provider of serviced apartments, has revitalised a commercial building near Basel SBB station and converted it into an apartment building.
On Nauenstrasse in Basel, near the SBB railway station, a commercial building from the 1960s has been extensively converted and refurbished. Total contractor Porr converted the seven-storey building into a residential complex over a two-year construction period on behalf of the client Visionapartments.
In addition to 127 apartments, the building also includes a restaurant, a lobby bar, public work areas, a fitness center and a pool with bar on the roof. The three basement levels include a large parking garage. (ah)
