Zuchwil: First apartments in Riverside are ready for occupancy
The first tenants will be able to move into the new Riverside quarter in Zuchwil at the beginning of October. The Swiss Prime Investment Foundation has developed the project on the former industrial site.
The Swiss Prime Investment Foundation (SPA) is building the Riverside district in several stages on ten construction sites. A total of 140 apartments are being built, of which 120 units have already been let, according to Jérôme Baumann, Chairman of the SPA Foundation Board. The apartments in the "Widi Huus" and "Sulzer Huus" will soon be ready for occupancy. All five buildings in the first phase are expected to be occupied by autumn 2022.
The project on the site on the banks of the River Aare also includes 100,000 sqm of commercial space. According to the SPA, just under 40 companies have set up shop at Riverside so far. Further users are being sought for the vacant commercial space. (ah)
