Basel: Support settlement in the Grosspeter Clime

PSP Real Estate Ltd, part of PSP Swiss Property, has celebrated the construction progress of the Grosspeter Clime in Basel by setting a signed pillar. The building is scheduled for completion at the end of 2022.

The Grosspeter Clime, planned by Diener & Diener Architekten, is part of the new Basel business district Grosspeter Areal near Basel SBB station. The 78-metre-high Grosspeter Tower was completed in 2017 in the business district, which comprises a total of three buildings. Gastronomy, hotel and service offers, a co-working space and several rentable conference rooms are also located directly on the Grosspeter Areal.

The Grosspeter Clime should be ready for users in about a year; marketing has already begun. Plans are currently underway to renovate the third building on the site, Grosspeter Tec. This is the operations building of Swisscom, which will continue to occupy part of the building in the future. The building is scheduled to be ready for occupation in spring 2024, which will also mark the end of the eight-year construction phase on the site. (ah)
