The Fortyseven wellness spa is considered the centerpiece of the Baden spa district. The 4,400-square-meter thermal bath consists of a 160-meter-long main body with a flat building in front and was designed by the well-known architect Mario Botta. It has numerous indoor and outdoor pools, a large sauna area, various rest and relaxation zones, rooms for body and facial treatments, and a food court. It opens to visitors on November 20.

Already at the beginning of November, two public fountains designed by the association Bagni Popolari will be put into operation. It will be possible to bathe in these "hot fountains". The new Limmat promenade will also be available from the beginning of November. By the end of October, the Kurplatz will also be redesigned; the square is to become a meeting place. In the process, the city wants to give the "Grosser Heissen Stein" back its original meaning: The stone slab above the spring of the same name is heated by the steam of the rising hot spring water and is to serve as a seat again. The double spring Grosser and Kleiner Heisser Stein is the main source of the total of 19 warm springs in the baths and is located in the middle of the spa square. (ah)
