Zurich: Audemars Piguet rents in Leuenhof
Audemars Piguet is moving into the counter area of the Leuenhof in Zurich. The landlord of the retail space is the Swiss Prime Investment Foundation.
Swiss Prime Investment Foundation (SPA) describes Audemars Piguet's move to Leuenhof as a "major leasing success". "We are very pleased to have signed this long-term contract, especially in the current challenging market environment," says Marcel Hug, Managing Director of the SPA. The SPA acquired the traditional former bank on Bahnhofstrasse, just a few steps from Paradeplatz, from Credit Suisse in 2016 and has carried out extensive renovation work in recent years.
Audemars Piguet will move into the nearly 800-square-meter counter hall in the striking Art Nouveau building at the beginning of 2022. In addition to the optimal location of the Leuenhof for the luxury label, the implementation of a new sales location is ideally feasible in the large space, says SPA. At the same time, the watch manufacturer will be able to serve its clientele discreetly and in line with their requirements in the historically noble business environment.
