Wädenswil: Dismantling for the major AuPark project begins
Intershop Holding will begin dismantling and deconstruction work on the AuPark development site in a few days. The plan is to build a new residential quarter.
According to Intershop Holding, the existing buildings on the development site have largely been vacated by the end of the first half of 2021. The first demolition and dismantling work on the buildings is now to begin. The work is expected to be completed by mid-2022.
With the major AuPark project, the Intershop Group is building around 230 apartments in four new buildings. In addition, there will be a supplementary neighbourhood service and a secondary school for the left bank of Lake Zurich, which will be built by the canton of Zurich. A public park with a playground is planned in the center of the development. (ah)
