Chur: Groundbreaking ceremony for Inno Qube innovation centre

Construction of Inno Qube Swiss has begun in Chur. Start-ups and other innovative companies are to settle in the innovation centre; a good 300 workplaces are available.

Inno Qube Swiss is being built at Sommeraustrasse 1 in the Rossboden area and is being financed entirely from private sources. The investment sum is around CHF 25 million; the investor and project developer is the ITW Group of Companies from Balzers (LI). The groundbreaking ceremony for the innovation centre was held on 5 November 2021, with completion scheduled for the end of 2023.

From 2024, research and work will be carried out at Inno Qube Swiss on a total area of 11,200 sqm. The four-storey building includes flexible office space for around 300 workstations, various coworking and meeting spaces as well as an event arena, a restaurant and a daycare centre. The target group is companies, start-ups and spin-offs from the fields of research, development and digitalisation. (ah)
