Thun: Artisa acquires the Congress Hotel Seepark
Artisa takes over the luxury hotel Congress Hotel Seepark in Thun from UBS. Previously, the hotel group had already secured the right to purchase the Grand Hotel Locarno.
The 4-star superior hotel in Thun was founded in 1989 as a training centre for the Bankverein and is now considered one of Switzerland's leading conference hotels. With views of Lake Thun and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the hotel offers 85 rooms, six suites and 17 seminar rooms. In addition, there is a 350 sqm wellness and fitness area as well as two restaurants. The hotel has been managed by UBS since 1998.
Artisa will take over the hotel on December 15. According to Artisa and UBS, the agreement includes the takeover of the property as well as the staff employed at the hotel. (ah)
