Glandon builds another apartment building in Lucerne
Glandon Apartments, a provider of temporary furnished apartments, is creating another location in Lucerne. The reason is the good occupancy rate of the existing houses.

So far, Glandon Apartments operates four locations in Lucerne, and a total of 15 additional business apartments have been in planning at Haldenstrasse 21 since spring 2021. Now the company has received the building permit for a sixth location. This is to be built on Obergrundstrasse directly next to the former Casa d'Italia. The new five-story building will offer space for 18 furnished serviced apartments: 16 1-room apartments and two 2-room apartments.
Excavation for the building began in December 2021, and interior work is scheduled for the winter of 2022. Leasing is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2023.
Glandon Apartments' portfolio currently includes more than 20 properties and around 650 apartments in Zurich, Basel, Bern, Lucerne, Biel, Baden, Solothurn and Oftringen. (ah)
