Rieter creates a corporate campus in Winterthur
Textile machinery manufacturer Rieter is building a campus in Winterthur for 80 million CHF. Allreal is realizing the project.
The traditional company Rieter, a renowned supplier of spinning systems, is investing 80 million CHF in a new site on Klosterstrasse in Winterthur. A customer and technology center as well as an administration building are to be built there on an area of 30,000 square meters. A project by BDE Architekten, which won a study contract in 2017, will be implemented. Allreal is implementing the project as a total contractor. Work has already begun, and the campus is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2024.
According to Allreal, the project is very complex, especially with regard to the building services systems. For example, in the area of product and technology development, various climate zones would be required that could be variably adjusted. (ah)
