Hotel Grace La Margna in St. Moritz before the opening
The reopening of Hotel La Margna in St. Moritz is on the horizon. After renovation and expansion, the traditional hotel will open for the 2022/23 winter season.
Located above the St. Moritz train station, the Art Nouveau house, which according to media reports was acquired by private owners in 2020, underwent an extensive renovation in recent months, with an extension and additional rooms, as well as a 700-square-meter spa with a 20-meter pool and saunas. The investment volume for the facelift of the renowned house: around CHF 70 million. The hotel is scheduled to reopen in the 2022/2023 winter season as the first property of the new "Grace Hotels" brand. The design is by London-based Divercity Architects and Blarer & Reber Architects from Samedan.
The "Grace La Margna" will have 74 spacious rooms and suites, including a 260-square-meter "Grace Penthouse Suite" (3 bedrooms, roof terrace). Furthermore, there will be several new restaurants with different food concepts - from fine dining to pizzeria - as well as a bar in the hotel's listed lobby lounge. (bw)
