Immofonds suburban invests in Schaffhausen
Immofonds Asset Management has purchased a residential and commercial property in the old town of Schaffhausen for Immofonds suburban.
The new fund property of Immofonds suburban is the historic property at Bachstrasse 19-27, Ampelngasse 10-12 in St. Gallen's old town. The property comprises 23 apartments as well as commercial, restaurant, office and retail space. It is centrally located, shopping and educational facilities are within walking distance, and the building is easily accessible by public and private transport.
According to Immofonds Asset Management, the property was extensively renovated in 1991 and is in good condition. Currently, the building has a vacancy rate of 20%, which is mainly due to a vacant sales area. The fund company intends to repurpose the space in a timely manner and reposition it in the market. (ah)
