According to the Berlin-based hotel operating company HR Group, it has signed a contract with the owner of the Congress Hotel Seepark, Artisa Micro Living AG, effective April 15, 2022. The aim of the cooperation is the professional continuation of the ongoing hotel operations.

"The Congress Hotel Seepark is a real institution, especially in the Swiss market. We are very pleased to add the hotel to our portfolio," says Markus Lewe, CEO Lodging Division and Managing Director HR Group. The Group already operates six hotels in Switzerland: five properties under the Mövenpick brand and the Vienna House Zur Bleiche Schaffhausen.

The luxurious and multiple award-winning Congress Hotel Seepark is located directly on Lake Thun with a view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The hotel has 85 rooms, four junior suites and two panorama suites. It also offers a bistro, a gourmet restaurant and a wellness and fitness center. With its 17 plenary, seminar and group rooms, the hotel is considered a popular venue for events; it is one of the leading conference hotels in Switzerland.

The four-star superior hotel was founded in 1989 as a training center of the Bankverein; from 1998 it was managed by UBS. The latter sold the hotel to Artisa in December 2021. (ah)
