Lifemine Therapeutics, which is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, will occupy existing space of approximately 3,900 square meters. Together with the other life science companies on and adjacent to the site, as well as the ongoing uses by Novartis, the establishment of Lifemine contributes to a new life science cluster in the canton of Basel-Stadt.

Rhystadt CEO Christian Mutschler says: "Basel-Stadt is enormously important as a location for future-oriented biotech and life science companies. The Klybeckquartier is in an extremely attractive location in the canton for new settlements, especially of life science companies." Rhystadt AG is proud to have pioneering research companies such as Lifemine Therapeutics on the Klybeck site, he said. Already located on the site - also new - are the two US companies Bright Peak Therapeutics and Monte Rosa Therapeutics.

For the interim use of the rental space, Rhystadt AG is supported by the portfolio management of Credit Suisse Asset Management and by the leasing team of the international real estate services provider CBRE. (bw)
