Office Lab opens location in Winterthur
A coworking space from the provider Office Lab is opening in the landmarked post office building near Winterthur's train station.
For the new coworking space in Winterthur, which opened on June 1, the post office building near the train station was extensively renovated by Offconsult and Blickensdorfer Architekten and expanded according to current sustainability standards with CO2-positive infrastructure, Office Lab reports.
The 1,250 square meter space now has room for eleven team offices, 44 open desks, eight meeting and project rooms, two telephone booths and a large community zone. The first anchor tenant is the auditing and consulting firm PwC.
According to Office Lab, Winterthur is an important location between the economic areas of Zurich and eastern Switzerland. The coworking space is in an attractive location: opposite the train station and at the entrance to the old town with many shopping and leisure opportunities.
Office Lab already operates locations in Zurich Altstetten, Zurich Wollishofen, Spreitenbach, Baden and Zug. According to the company, openings are planned in Zurich Enge and in Baden. (ah)
