Areas in the Papieri Cham are in demand
According to the Cham Group, demand for apartments and commercial space in its development site, the former paper mill in Cham, is "enormous."
According to the Cham Group, the total of 163 rental apartments in the first construction phase have now all been let. According to the company, the rental contracts were concluded within a few weeks. The marketing of the 4,400 sqm of service and commercial space in the first stage is also "as good as complete".
It also says that demand for the condominiums in high-rise I has been very high. Almost all of the 61 apartments were reserved during the pre-marketing phase. In the second construction phase, Hochhaus I is a timber hybrid building with a broad mix of attic, maisonette and floor apartments.
According to Cham Group, the first residents will be able to move into their apartments in high-rise building L and building A from mid-September, and the lofts and studios in the former paper machine halls should be ready for occupation in January 2023.
The commercial spaces will also fill up before the end of the year: from November, the first companies will move into the studios of construction area A in Maschinengasse. According to Cham Group, architectural offices, a film production company, two photo studios, a painting studio for children and a dog salon will open here. On the first floor of high-rise building L, there will be a dental practice and a pottery studio. At the beginning of 2023, further commercial uses will start in the former paper machine halls PM1-4 opposite building A, including a practice for physiotherapy. (ah)
