Residential development planned in Schöftland
At the entrance to the town of Schöftland in the canton of Aargau, a site development with around 50 apartments is to be built. The consultation process is currently underway.

On the Geissgass site at the southern entrance to Schöftland (AG), a larger development is planned. Four buildings, each with four full stories and an attic, are to be built on the 6,000 square meter site, which is currently used for agriculture.
According to the design plan, the volumes are between 35 and 45 m long and between 15 and 15.50 m high. A total of 49 apartments with a mix of 2.5- to 5.5-room apartments are to be created The two southern buildings 3 and 4 form a common courtyard; according to the project authors, family-friendly rental apartments could be accommodated here. The apartments in the northern buildings 1and 2 will be sold as condominiums. The first floor of building 4 will not be used for residential purposes; among other things, the entrance to the underground parking garage will be located here.
Public input for the project will run until Sept. 12, the design plan could be in place by summer 2023, and construction could begin in 2024. (ah)
