Zurich Airport expands retail space by one third
Zurich Airport is investing CHF 250 million in its public areas and is renewing airport shopping in several stages.

By 2026, generous store areas will be built along new passenger routes, expanding the existing offering by a third. Between the P1 and P2 parking garages, a two-level hall with a 2,000-square-meter food hall is being built on the level of the bus station. It is also planned that the Circle will be seamlessly connected to the airport shopping and can then be reached on dry feet.
The project is based on a project competition announced in 2014. Civil engineering work on the project was started at the beginning of 2020. Due to the corona pandemic, the building construction project was delayed and will now be resumed with preparatory work from November 2022. (aw)
