Atlas Foundation builds senior residence in Uster
The Atlas Foundation is the developer of the Residenz am Stadtpark, currently the highest superstructure in the city of Uster. The project includes apartments for the elderly as well as areas for care, gastronomy and commerce.
Construction of the Residenz am Stadtpark in Uster began two years ago, and in the meantime the topping-out ceremony has been celebrated for the development with its two distinctive residential towers on a base level. In the towers, 81 high-quality, generation-appropriate apartments (mainly 2.5 and 3.5 rooms) are being built.
On the ground floor and facing the park, a public restaurant and the residence restaurant will be realized on the basement level. On the first floor and second floor facing Zürichstrasse, stores and businesses are planned. The second floor will be used by the residence's own nursing department.
According to the Atlas Foundation, the project is on schedule, with the superstructure expected to be ready for occupancy in the fall of 2023.
The purpose of the non-profit foundation is to provide retirement apartments for middle-class Swiss citizens. It already owns and operates the Konradhof residence in Winterthur, Spirgarten in Zurich and Südpark in Basel. (ah)
