Aldi Suisse rents 1,300 sqm retail space in Opfikon-Glattbrugg
The German discount grocer Aldi is moving into Opfikon. The new lease was brokered by Intercity subsidiary SPGI Zurich on behalf of the owner.

The grocery chain will open the new store in the "Balsberg" building near the airport in spring 2023. Until now, the retailer has been based in Glattbrugg with a supermarket in Schaffhauserstrasse.
Aldi Suisse will offer its full range of over 1,800 articles in the new sales area of around 1,300 square meters. According to its own information, the "Balsberg" is the largest commercial building in Switzerland. (aw)
