Canton Lucerne builds for 177 million in Emmen

The Canton of Lucerne wants to build a new administration building in Emmen for CHF 177.4 million. The building application for the project has been published these days.

The new building at Seetalplatz in Emmen is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in 2026. It will house 30 offices that are currently spread across various locations. More than 1,400 employees will have their workplace in the complex in the future.

The project in the Lucerne North area is being developed and realized by Losinger Marazzi. Max Dudler is responsible for the architectural planning. In November 2021, the Lucerne electorate clearly approved the project, which will be realized on cantonal land. (aw)
