Aarau: Mobimo plans new buildings in the Aeschbach quarter
The building application for two Mobimo AG buildings in Aarau's Torfeld Süd is currently open to the public. More than 100 apartments are to be built.
Mobimo wants to build a new development in construction area 3 of the Aeschbachquartier in Aarau (AG). Two buildings are planned: a hall building with seven upper floors and a courtyard building with four full floors. This is the result of the building application, which is currently open to the public. The construction costs are estimated at around CHF 46 million.
For the hall house, the base of an existing hall will be retained; a solid-structure addition with seven upper floors will provide space for small apartments (2.5 to 3.5 rooms), cluster apartments and microapartments. The flatter courtyard house, a wooden structure with a garden courtyard, is "designed for families and people seeking green living close to the ground," according to the building description. It will feature multi-story and maisonette apartments, as well as a parking garage in the basement. (ah)
