Zurich: Premiere for Radisson Hotel & Suites
Radisson Hotel Group brings its upscale Radisson brand to Opfikon and enters the serviced apartment market in Switzerland.
In May 2023, the largest hotel in the Zurich metropolitan region with 447 rooms will open its doors as Radisson Hotel & Suites Zurich. The Swiss portfolio of the Radisson Hotel Group thus grows to ten hotels with over 2,300 rooms in operation or under development.
The Radisson Hotel & Suites Zurich is located in the Glattpark district of Opfikon and thus in a central position between Zurich city center and the airport with good connections to local and long-distance public transport, the airport and private transport with the A1/A4 and A51 freeways. The Zurich Exhibition Center is also in the immediate vicinity. The hotel offers 104 hotel rooms and 343 fully furnished, 21 to 49 sqm serviced apartments including a fully equipped kitchenette. The hotel also has a fitness area, a restaurant and a bar.
The hotel belongs to a company of the W5 Group, the family office of real estate entrepreneur Ralph Winter, and will be operated by Cycas Hospitality from May 2023. Radisson Hotel Group and Cycas are now expanding their partnership with a second project after the Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South. (bw)
